- a sense of accountability for the creation of a situation or chain of events and a call to take responsibility for the part you have played
- a mistake you have made or something you have done wrong which gives you an opportunity to accept that no one (yourself included) is without flaws or above reproach
- a rift or break in the integrity of something such as the fault lines along the edges of the earth's tectonic plates
