1. thoughts you have about making additions or alterations to something in your life (such as adding a new room onto your house) that are desirable but not necessary
2. a call to make use of the resources at hand to customize the atmosphere around you into one which is more colorful and conducive to your way of life
3. a chance to enjoy a celebration or special occasion and take a relaxing or revitalizing break from your day's schedule
4. a sense of being honored by others (since military personnel who have won awards are referred to as being "decorated") or a call to honor yourself and/or others
